ColdFusion MX 7:  Event Gateways

This will be our second meeting focusing on the exciting new features in ColdFusion MX 7!

We are especially excited to have Jeff Tapper as our presenter for this meeting.  Jeff is an author, instructor and frequent speaker at Macromedia Development Conferences.  For a select list of Jeff's publication's click here.

Though Jeff will be presenting on ColdFusion, he is also a Flash, Flex, ActionScript and Rich Internet Application development expert, so feel free to bring your questions on these technologies too.

The main topic of the evening is Event Gateways.  With Event Gateways, ColdFusion now supports clients beyond web browsers.  This includes Instant Messages, SMS messages, File System changes, and much more. This opens whole new worlds of possibility for ColdFusion applications. In his presentation, Jeff will demonstart what these gateways are, how they work, and how you can leverage them in your applications.
